I feel a lot better about where we are and how we played last month against the Seahawks given what I just watched

Yeah, this.

If not for an unfortunate fumble, the saints are in very good position to win that game.

Doesn't make it easier, but a feel better about our performance.

Our oline handled their pass rush in the playoff game on the road.

The 35 mph wind + Ingram's frick ups impacted us a lot. We had a solid game plan

Denver's best offense ever couldn't move the ball with basically zero wind

I'm honestly wondering how Denver is explaining that game.

not really - but i did find it hilarious that they tried to run the screen game all game long....cause you know that sort of approach worked well for all teams this year against Seattle.

if anything it makes me feel better that our screen game wasn't that bad - their screen D was that good.

Manning certainly made Brees look like a surgeon last night.

And our OL showed up way better.

Makes you wonder where the Saints would have been had they taken care of business and gotten home field throughout.

In the Superbowl. That you can book it! We would have lost to no one in the dome.

We recevied a Denver-like arse whipping when we played Seattle the first time.

The only thing it did for me is realize just how great their D is, and maybe I've been too harsh on Graham and our receivers. However, if that's the D we will have to play against for the next 2-3 years, then we need to make our offense just s nasty and hard hitting as their D.

yep. Armstead played great in the playoff game. We were running the ball down their throats.

Then Ingram drops a wide open screen pass that probably had 20 yards in front of him

Then the fumble later in the game...

We actually had a decent gameplan with the 30+ mph wind we were experiencing, but we blew it

No.
But it does prove that they need a upgrade across the O-line.
Their QB is over paid and past his prime.
The TE's are soft and don't show up in big games.
The WR's are old and slow.
And QB gloves are the devils mittens.

At least that was said about us around here after we lost to the seahags.
