to take when they played Seattle? The Saints got beat horribly at Seattle. Does this Super Bowl make you feel any better about that loss they suffered on Monday night Football?

Easier? No. I am proud of our teams performance.

Seeing that the Saints were a play or two from winning in the playoffs against Seattle, this probably makes them the only team that actually had a chance to beat them. Everything goes and bounces Seattle's way - they almost get penalties - and do a great job of faking they weren't holding, grasping, blocking in the back, etc. They cheat and cheat cleverly and the league turns a blind eye.

The Seattle games did not make me mad. Losing to Carolina and St. Louis is what pissed me off.

nope, shows us that we got a ways to go with skills position to catch up to their defense.

at least our defense was a whole lot better.

This.

If the Saints are "soft" playing @SEA, then how soft is the #1 offense, Manning, etc playing vs. SEA on a neutral field.

It doesn't make it feel better, but it tells me the Saints are better than Denver and all their bullshite stats.

Makes you wonder where the Saints would have been had they taken care of business and gotten home field throughout.

I think this game just shows that the NFC is better this year all the way around. I think the Saints and 49ers beat this same Bronco team in this game.

Superbowl champion players get paid.

Yes they absolutely did and really - that one poor series of play calling cost them. Throwing into double coverage with 2 timeouts and 46 seconds was just not a good idea.

two things.

when you see your favorite team lose as you get older, the sting doesn't last as long.

also, the Saints lost almost a month ago.

No. It just gets me even more annoyed at how shitty the play calling and execution were a few weeks ago.
