Rossman usually comes out on the right end of these situations.

Send a 5th for a top player, check them out for a year, and if the money is right for your organization, re-sign him. If not you got a good player for a year and might get a compensatory pick.

I just feel like Loomis doesn't have it in him. He is the one who always gets taken advantage of. Loomis needs to be more cutthroat and take some chances. Trade back and leverage the opportunity for another 3rd rounder.

All he likes to do is trade up. It just socks that our gm doesn't use every avenue to make his team elite.

Roseman used next year's 3rd to get his 4th. Loomis used next year's 4th and a 7th for his move ups. Advantage Loomis.

Rossman didn't want to give him 8 mil.

He got him to help his team deep into the playoffs and talk contract with the player. He decided not to re-sign him, and now might get a pick

Your missing the point. Your Gm isn't going to bat 1000%. But he is using every opportunity possible to make the team elite.

Loomis is always reactive. He never proactively does anything except move money forward,.

Well I saw a bold move twice in FA. A new QB and a new RB.

And I've seen moves in this draft to move up and get your guys.
People use to talk up the ravens and pats Gm's too. Philly is making good moves and it shows but they are not perfect as you said.

I would not have liked for Mickey Loomis to draft and pay Carson Wentz

Eagles fans also wanted to murder him for draftin Jalen Reagor

I have a feeling that the eagles draft won’t be as good as everyone thinks it is. There is usually a reason GMs pass on players. The value picks don’t often pan out

They've got 5 guys from the same college defense. Just playing the odds they won't all be good. The move for Swift is smart even if he ends up being just a rental.

If the Saint were trading picks for one year rent-a-players you guys would be freaking out even worse than you normally do.

Weird flex, got a starter that was leading the league in ints for barely nothing, at a low salary, helped them get to the Super Bowl and now will get a comp pick for him.

Before last year, Eagles fans wanted to run him out of Philly. The NFL is usually cyclical with its luck. Roseman is riding the high right now but it'll change fast - it always does.

They traded for him and let him go the next year. Not weird at all.

Pretty sure the eagles got a lesser comp pick than what they traded us and we were going to cut him anyway
