Do you have back-ups for Saints and LSU?

When LSU loses, I pretty much hate any other team playing on TV that Saturday and will not watch anymore football. However, I have the Saints to look forward to pulling for on Sunday. If they lose too, I am pretty much done with Football for the weekend because I am so pissed off.
I used to fall back on the Cowboys when I was a kid but started hating them after they canned Tom Landry.
I will never have a back-up for LSU to pull for. I think I am a Bills fan but they suck every year it seems. Who do you go with?

I generally don't give a frick whether or not LSU wins or loses on a Saturday.
Depending on HOW the Saints lose, I have different moods on Sunday/Monday. For games like last year's St. Louis game, I was just like, meh. The team laid an egg that game and St. Louis's defense played light's out. Happens, even with shitty teams. After the playoff loss, I was shellshocked. That was a Stomach Punch game.
It wasn't until earlier this summer--like last month--that I watched highlights from that game. I didn't even read the box score until a few months later. I didn't read football websites or pay much attention to the NFCCG the following week.

No. My football world lives and dies by the Saints. I was never more than a casual LSU fan.

I'm a Saints fan first and foremost. I really don't cheer any other team unless they have someone I really enjoy watching play. I like Forte for some odd reason so I tend to watch the Bears if I have nothing else to do.
I will pretty much watch any kind of football that is on. But with much less intensity if it isn't the Saints.
I love LSU. I go to games. I'm going to the opener as long as the storm doesn't screw it up. Went to the opener last year as well. I follow them and I want them to win with everything in me. But nothing comes close to my fanhood of the Saints.

That loss right there had to be the most painful thing to witness in recent memory. After this game, the remaining playoffs meant nothing to me. Could care less about any of the teams and only watch the Super Bowl half interested.

I really can't choose between the saints and LSU. it's like a parent choosing a favorite child. Braves are my fallback.

Just like motorbreath, LSU and the Saints are basically loved equally by me. Of course whoever is having the better/more awesome season I will be more excited about at that time.
My "fallback" is another sport entirely, but I LOVE the OKC Thunder.
Collegiately I support the Sooners, but they don't even COMPARE to my love for LSU/Saints/Thunder. In the NFL, I tend to keep up with the Cowboys because my brother is a huge fan - but I don't really have a "fallback team".

I like Kansas City as an AFC team but I don't really care if they win or lose.
I, like you, couldn't care less about football if LSU or the Saints lose that weekend. I don't even listen to sports talk or watch sports shows that week

I hate all other teams, so no.

Well my family is not originally from the region and I didn't go to LSU so I'm not necessarily a diehard LSU fan. I do cheer for them casually though and was definitely disappointed when they lost in the NC game in January. My family is originally from Kentucky and my dad, sister, and I went to Louisville so they are actually my primary college sports team. All in all if LSU loses it doesn't ruin my weekend.
It is a totally different situation with the Saints. Being from Kentucky we have no pro sports teams at all so we are free to choose who we want to cheer for. I didn't really have an NFL team growing up. When we moved to Mississippi though I picked up the Saints very quickly, my mom bought me a few Saints stuff and I started watching the games as much as possible. Eventually I even got to attend a few games. This was during the Jim Mora days in New Orleans and the Saints were pretty decent overall (of course then the Ditka years happened. ). The Saints are my obsession though and I am the same way, if the Saints lose I can't watch football the rest of the weekend. I still have never re-watched the Saints - 49ers game and have never even seen the box score. I couldn't watch the NFC Championship Game and only watched parts of the Super Bowl, it was simply too painful. I honestly have no other team I even remotely cheer for in the NFL, I cheer for the Saints and whoever is playing the Falcons, Bucs, and Panthers.

Neither do I! I go out of my way to avoid channels and radio stations that are going to remind me of the game. I throw away the Sports Illustrated issues that cover the game and avoid newspapers as well. So glad there are others out there that share this behavior! My wife thinks its hilarious for awhile then gets mad at me for avoiding her because she keeps bringing it up to laugh about it. I think my beloved deceased Golden Retriever was the only one who really understood.

For me it's like this:
Saints
.
Hornets
.
.
LSU/ULL
The Saints will always be number 1 for me, nothing can top them. I also love the Hornets, for they represent this state and I've watched them since they came to New Orleans.
I am a huge football fan, and love both NFL and College ball. However, I am no more than a casual fan of LSU, although I certainly wish them well. It's just not close to the same connection to the players and overall team that the Saints can give.
Outside of this, there are some NFL teams I really enjoy watching when the Saints aren't on. I am huge fan of great quarterback play. Watching players like Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning, it's fun for me. If I had to pick a team other than the Saints it would be the Pats; similar team, very well ran organization, outstanding talent, elite quarterback, top offense, model of consistency, and yearly contender.

Love LSU and won't watch ESPN or this website in a loss. January 9th crippled me for a while and although I've made my peace, I feel I'll never be over it. I also am a huge Saints fan, but it depends on how they lose (did they compete?) since they are afforded a few mulligans/losses a season. They were so bad for so long that I'm still excited as hell just to make the playoffs and I think every true Saints fan (who has been there long enough) can be happy with making the playoffs alone.

I'm 50/50 LSU and the Saints, and 100% frick the rest.

Disagree. Can't be satisfied anymore just to get there, especially with Brees at the helm.
And I've been there from the beginning.

Absolutely no back up to LSU
I've always somewhat rooted for the Texans
