Do we think Pete Carmichael Jr. just forgot that NFL teams play 17 games a year now?

How much veto power does Allen use on Carmichael's play calling. Just seems unlikely Carmichael would regress that much.

I doubt he had a ton of autonomy under Peyton. He's just an assistant. It was really telling that he didn't want the job.
