While we don't have a plethora of great options, SJB isn't near ready. There's no reason to not add Bailey back at this point, besides him not wanting to re-sign with us. Two options for a roster spot I see are:

-Do something about the two FBs we're carrying. Either IR Lorig, or get rid of Johnson. When we got to the goal line, we were using Parlys Haralson as a FB at that point. We don't use a FB enough as it is, so if Johnson can't block on the goal line, then cut him.

-Put Dixon on the PS. He would have made it before, and he'll make it there now.

We would have held them to a fg (tie) earlier if Lewis wasn't so bad at tackling. Jesus, just grab the guys leg.

The missed tackles as a whole were a killer.

Adding Bailey back wouldn't be so much as to whether or not he's better than P-Rob, but more so for depth. Vaccaro shouldn't have to be our 4th CB on game day.

Just throw SJB in there and let him learn. No worse result than what we saw on that side yesterday.

Did he even play yesterday? I didn't see him and I've honestly totally forgotten we even drafted him.

So something called a Dixon wearing #20 got to dress out over a 2nd round pick? That's...something.

Rex is in charge so pRob is on him. PRob isnt up to it, so this loss is on Rexs fat arse and smooth hair.

So we traded Robinson to the Jets?

Champ has lost the number one tool you need to play a #1 or 2 corner in the NFL. Speed. Putting him in there at anything other than nickel is a huge liability. In order to compensate for his speed, he'll have to play off the receiver; QB sees that, audibles to a slant, defense loses. Lines up close, QB sees it, and burns him over the top on the outside. It's a no-win situation with Champ on the outside, at least Robinson can stay with the receiver.

I think the better option would be give Robinson another game or two; if he doesn't improve, allow one of your younger players step up. The main problem here is this problem wasn't identified in training camp. Here we are in the regular season, down one game, and every offensive mind in the NFL saw how bad he is. I guarantee you this is going to a point of attack on every gameplan here on out.

What good will having Champ sitting back 25 yards of LOS with no pressure on the QB?

Not all top corners have elite speed. Charles Woodson didn't have great speed during his time with the Packers and he was one of the better corners in the NFL at that time.

So you think Champ is faster than Patrick Robinson right now? Last time I really saw any consistent game time for Champ was in the Super Bowl. In that game he looked like a 35 year old CB trying to keep up with good receivers.
