For his size his speed will have NFL teams drooling.
As CSP said a deep class for WR's which is good for teams not trading away picks.
No need to take one in the 1st.

I'm gonna say the Pats at 32
We don't know how to develop rookie WRs
Pats are 100 percent trading down and if they do stay it'll be for a corner

Do you search for the pats being mentioned or are you just everywhere all the time?

There it is
yeah, dude has some wheels for a big guy. I don't really have a favorite WR in this class but this dude would be an interesting pick.

Don't want a guy that's only fast

My guess is it would be about 2 yards over 40 yards.
To give some perspective, Kevin White ran a 4.35 at the combine and DeVante Parker ran a 4.45. When you look at the youtube video of them running (combined w/ Cooper) you can see Parker is about a yard behind White as White crosses the 40.

I was hoping he would last until a 3rd round pick. That doesn't appear promising anymore.

Damn, that guy is fast for being such a big WR. Like you said, would be an interesting pick.
Brees would have to take a 3 step drop and hum it as far as he could throw it to have a chance to hit the guy on stride.

I was too.
I had us taking him at 74, don't see it happening now.

Pure coincidence most of the time
It's the offseason so I'm clicking on almost all the boards to find something interesting. You should see my data bill

Perriman is a physical monster. Has all the tools you could possibly want physically and athletically. But he's very raw and can be inconsistent at times.
That said, I'll be thrilled to get him at the #31.
And I read something the other day where a North Iowa player ran a 4.19 in the 40.

But didn't count it.. Hand times are not trust worthy. I mean Funchess ran a 4.70 at the combine, laser timed, but ran a 4.48 at his pro day, hand timed. He went from a slow time to a fast time in just a few weeks. Take these pro day times with a grain of salt.

While this is true, the hand time for Perriman was 4.15, the 4.22 was supposedly an electronic time from the video. Either way thats quick

However, what is the real difference between a 4.22 and a 4.42 (don't say .2 seconds) on the field, wearing pads, running routes and getting hit?

Same game Chad Jones destroyed Joe Adams

Watched his highlights. He's not even pulling away from DB's in the open field.
He was caught from behind a few times.
He does make that run 4.2 run look effortless though. Those long striders always do.
