I could be way off the mark and exaggerating here, but it’s not unimaginable that Jameis Winston and the team as a whole was going to improve as the season progressed. Certainly an 11-6 or 10-7 record would have been very attainable with a healthy Jameis. That being said, if Devin White had not horse collar tackled Jameis and tore his knee up, and we had not missed the playoffs this season, would Sean Payton still be stepping down to take time and decompress?

Move on and stop with the stupid hypotheticals. I’m sure you’re trying to find excuses to hate on Devin White for not saying he goes to LSU during his introduction.

Wrong. I don’t give a damn what he says in his intro. And I love Devin white. He was and still is one of my all time favorite tigers. Eat a bag of dicks :)

He was having exit thoughts as soon as Brees retired. He knew he was fricked without him.

He did pretty well with Kerry Collins in New York. And drew Bledsoe in Dallas. Not sure what that has to do with me wondering aloud if he would be sticking around had he not lost Winston this season though.

Devin White is a dirty player. Plain and simple.

I didn't complain about it when he was at LSU because we benefitted from it.

I wouldn't complain about it if he were a Saint, either.

He carefully danced around it but basically said the last two years with all the covid bs and all the political shite making its way into football made it more challenging than it was worth it for him to continue. Lets face it, everything is drastically more complicated than it was two years ago...

You've had too much Jameson and you're focusing on Jameis.

Yea the way I took it....We are one variant away from next year being a shite show. These dudes dont want swabs shoved up their noses every five days. Made to wear mask every minute in public or ridiculed for every little thing they do or say or dont do or say. I think most coaches in his position have asked themselves if its worth it to them anymore this past year.
