No, they have a board with every defensive rookie that has a good chance of going undrafted.

They put a blindfold on and then throw a dart at the board. Mickey is on the phone as soon as the dart hits and tells Goodell the name.

They are messing with us.

Now that we know Stephone Anthony issues. What issues does Dennis Allen have for turning this defense around. Typical example of passing the buck, Anthony time on the field has been limited so why do we continue to see the defense struggle.

Dennis Allen isn't the problem this year at all. Don't be fricking stupid.

I'm sorry, I played football from pee-wee through a 4 year university. I've literally never played with anyone who couldn't learn the playbook. Its a cop out. plain and simple

Hmmm.

I thought my question was obviously rhetorical

great coaches can teach dumb-but-talented-as-frick players to play smart. outside of SP, there aren't great coaches on staff particularly on defense. also, real thorough scouting by the FO. im sure they felt at the time they were snagging a future mensa member.

took 3 years to understand Buffalo's offense. That is a well known fact as to why Fred Jackson stole a lot of his playing time.

Fred Jackson was damn near old enough to be CJs father and was taking playing time with him.

That says a lot.

Jackson had a 1000 yard rushing season the year before they drafted Spiller. He took playing time from Lynch and Spiller because he was good.

Reminder. Mark Fields was slow to come around. Eventually he did. Just not with the Saints. Don't give up on this guy yet.

I'm thinking they are overcomplicating it, reads, keys and calls. They need linebackers that attack, that can rush the passer. The D-line doesn't get enough pressure. I thought Anthony was going to be a good player last year. They need to simplify things and let him play.
