Can we give him another year, at least? Loomis said it himself that coaches shouldn't be judged solely by results. DA is a good guy.

And he’ll get another year because Mickey Loomis hired him and would have to admit it was a mistake. Loomis is a far bigger problem than Allen, who is a huge problem. But Allen is the symptom of the disease. Loomis is the cause.

Halftime commentators couldn’t stop laughing at that clown of a coach.

I agree.

I'm on ST record here, I was a Loomis supporter until he starting talking about DA as Belichick type career. Lost me.

I think he’ll have to fire Dennis at seasons end for PR purposes, doesn’t fix much but maybe the shitty roster Mickey has assembled will be better coached

I supported Mickey when I thought he was a figurehead that let the football people work…in the years since he just seems hellbent on convincing the world he and the FO were the driving force behind the Payton /brees era of success

Always was a joke. Overrated as a coordinator, solid was nothing special there either.

Payton wasn't the driving force of that, either. Brees was the driving force and only a shoulder injury that spooked Miami led him here. Sean Payton's hand-picked QBs since have been Garrett Grayson, Ian Book, Taysom Hill, Teddy Bridgewater, Trevor Siemian, Jameis Winston, Russell Wilson, Jarret Stidham and Bo Nix.

To be fair, Payton has done well with middling QBs as long as he has a stout defense, which he had here in the late 2010s and has now in Denver. But none of those guys led him anywhere other than a few regular-season wins in Bridgewater and Winston's cases, and the jury is out on Nix 7 games into his rookie season.
