Grossly underutilized at UGA. Great athlete. Apparently he ran a 4.4 at his pro day? Not bad

Another good pick that fills a need. Offense is going to be lethal. Hope they double dip on defense in the 4th.

Why did he have so little production at Georgia? It’s very odd. Was it a scheme issue?

They seemed to be high on Delp in the pre-draft process. I think they would have liked to have taken a pass rusher already…..but there is a run on them prior to each of the last 2 picks.

At this point it seems that the strategy here on out would be to have a talented (but raw) rusher fall to us with one of the remaining picks……and bring Cam back.

I like Mason Reiger later in the draft, pretty productive on a Wisconsin team that didn’t have a whole lot. He was unstoppable in the Shrine game

Welp Taysom probably isn't coming back. Neither is Foster.

if Fant is the only answer, are we okay?

or maybe we just settle with the late round pick out UCLA.

You need TE's that can block. A lot of 12 personnel.

What if I told you the dude is 6-5, 245 with 4.49 speed, faster than 4.56 Jimmy Graham (6-6, 265). Would you like Shough having that as a target?

And a better blocker than Jimmy was. Delp has good hands, really good movement skills, and immediately becomes the best blocking TE on the team……..with the highest upside as a pass catcher.

I’m really not understanding everyone’s shock……the Saints never hid that they liked him lol

Yep, bottom line is by the end of the season Shough was throwing to nobodies, we badly needed help there. Now we have our QB, a boss WR and TE to grow with Shough. This is great. He played in a pro style offense so he can block too.
