For this Sunday's Saints-Bengals game. If Saints win, Ochocino will donate $8,500 to United Way for the Greater New Orleans Area. If Bengals win, Sharper will donate $8,400 (twice his No. 42) to Feed The Children!

Charitable betting? I'd hope so.

how the hell can the stop a guy from making a donation to a charity both legally and from a PR standpoint. Seems like its a verbal agreement with no money actually changing hands, being held, etc.

I'd be willing to bet they both make the donations regardless of who wins.

Pretty admirable of both of them....I used to not like Ochocinco but he is constantly doing stuff like this so I can't help but respect him...

I don't have much problem with Ocho. Yeah he runs his mouth and does stupid shite all the time but hes not out getting arrested and when he gets fined, he matches the fine with a donation to a charity.

I would be surprised if the league doesn't step in and quash this. Even though its betting for charity, its still betting on a game by players.

i wouldn't be surprised either, and if they do stop this it'll just show how little common sense people have these days.

They'll both donate the money anyway I'd bet, so it won't matter.

Sharper better make sure he pays up. Ochocino reneged on his bet with Revis last year that if Revis shut him down he would change his name back to Chad Johnson

a bit different scenario

I honestly don't know how anyone can't like Chad. The dude acts silly at times but he seems like a pretty goodhearted dude.

The game didn't sell out so it's blacked out.

Ocho attempted to buy all the remaining tickets so the game wouldn't be blacked out. Unfortunately, it was too late so the blackout couldn't be lifted, but just the idea of him trying is pretty damn cool.

If ocho wanted to buy the tickets hed have bought the tickets. Just a free PR stunt to "offer" to buy them.

He's a chronic reneger. From taking a year to pay Payton the $1500 for tickets to the Revis bet to these little stunts he's a game player.

Yea, cause Ocho's never done other stuff similar tot his for fans.

Dude does more for fans than any player in the league, I'm fairly certain of that.
