Unknown, not overly fast guy with size and range you can’t teach. One play that stuck out was how comfortable he looked on that comeback route making the catch in traffic.

No way he gets significant playing time with MT13, Juice and Olave on the roster but I wouldn’t mind seeing him make the team. He could be a huge red zone target and would likely draw little attention with MT13 and Juice on the field.

Ian Book threads the needle to Dai’Jean Dixon

Could be one of those guys they give more opportunities to next week, then hide for preseason 3 to sneak onto the PS.

I’ve had a firsthand seat seeing Dai’Jean perform at Nicholls. His entire career at Nicholls he was making contested catches with 2-3 defenders around him at all times. This is why you see him make those catches look so seamless and smooth. Kid doesn’t drop anything and I hope he makes the club. Hell, I have more confidence in him than Trequan.

He's been my sleeper pick to make the team. Just a great route runner who makes contested catches or catches in traffic more times than not.

Tre'Quan has legit competition for that #6 WR spot

I like Dixon and hoping he makes the team over trequan. He just looks like he has it and looks effortless

Guy always seemed to make big plays against higher competition and in big time moments at Nicholls. Does have a lot of similarities to Colston

Dixon & Colston probably had a similar draft grade

The issue is it’s almost impossible for anybody to find their way into this roster at receiver. Thomas, olave, and landry are locks. Callaway and harty are also locks. That leaves one or two spots for a lot of guys. The team liked TreQuan so I kind of think he will get that 6th spot. It’s just a tough job to get with the Saints right now.

Literally the only thing trequan gives you is blocking. He’s had his time to show you he could be a guy to rely on, he can’t. Too many dropped passes. Dixon gives you a different body type compared to the others fighting for the 6th spot. If it’s close and his blocking is close to trequan, you roll with Dixon.

I'll take Kurt and DJ over Calloway and Smith.
But my job is not on the line
