“My understanding is Dennis Allen is in a good spot.” - Ian Rapoport Ian Rapoport Tweet
This is fricking inexcusable. We have far and away the worst coaching staff in the League. It was blindingly obvious last night as McVay coached circles around us last night. I mean DA is a LOSER, always has been and always will be. I am beyond done with the organization until they make changes. All of the bright minds we had in the front office and staff 4 years ago are gone. We are a directionless franchise with gutless, complacent, and arrogant leadership. Burn it all down

yes

this should have been obvious to everyone that the last win we got gave DA another year as our HC

injuries and good tough hard fought losses will be the excuse to give him more time

And don’t renew tickets next year

Only way for management to get the memo

I figure he'll be around until we can offload Carr.

That's what happens when everyone gets excited about beating the Giants. DA and his smug arse face at the press conference after the game . The players were too busy doing the Tommy Devito "italian hand gesture" after every big play. Hell, even the goddamn special teams coordinator was doing it.

I mean to his credit DA is having his winning-est season ever as a head coach. I have no idea what the Saints FO is/was expecting. Obviously not much when they made the hire.

Would have to suck as a coach to get fired after your best season.

If the FO just wanted us to be bad and tank then that’s fine. But stop trying to act like you going on a playoff run each year and kicking the can further down the road

On 4 of Dennis Allen’s 5 seasons as a coach, his team fell short of its preseason vegas win total.

In his other season, he was fired after starting 0-4.

Dennis Allen coached teams are 5/5 in underperforming preseason expectations.

Dennis Allen will grind out any semblance of a winning culture within the organization from root to stem.

No way Loomis can be this stupid. This is a controlled demolition while squeezing every dollar out of it on the way down.
I don’t want even think about why.

This was obvious as soon as they beat both Giants and Panthers.

I don’t see this as them believing in DA but knowing a change needs to be made but knowing we won’t be at the top of the list unless Carr is gone and the new coach can pick his QB
