Saints HC Dennis Allen's End of Season Press Conference

I would take this presser as confirmation that DA returns next season, as if there was any doubt at this point.

Did he apologize for the 9 wins and promise to do better for the opponents next season?

If we play next year like we did this year with that schedule, we will 5 to 6 games. Hopefully that’ll get him fired. If Pete returns that should be an automatic firing.

To be fair he said he hadn’t met with Mickey to talk about the season’s end. But I agree hes back next year unless they’re some serious disagreements between him and Mickey in those conversations.

If DA stays, I hope they keep Pete.

I want every single cock sucking mother fricker that defended this team's performance to have to eat it every single week of next season when this team yet again shits the bed.

The issue with that is then he has Pete as the sacrificial lamb that has to go then all problems will be fixed for next offseason.

It’s not only the players defying him…but he totally cowered when Arthur smith was mother fricking him. Even if you had nothing to do with it, apologizing to someone coming at you like that is some beta shite. This is why the players had no problem overruling the guy,

Sassy little bitch

That video of him Sashaying into NRG with his latte is the absolute worst look

The Saints wont be anything other that mediocre until he is gone

Agreed and pessimistically think this could be the exact reason Allen and Loomis keep Carmichael.

It seems fairly obvious there should be an ultimatum for Allen.

1. Replace Carmichael with a much better OC.
2. Keep Carmichael and both his and Allen’s job are directly tied to results next year.

Either way, if there’s not demonstrative improvement in performance and win total/playoffs then clean house.

This is in a more optimistic world with a FO that cares though. So I see none of it happening. More likely we trot out Allen’s mediocrity at a declining ROI over the next 2-3 years.

Personally I think he needs to go. But to be fair I thought he did a pretty good job calling games the last few weeks. But overall this season- he just wasn’t good enough.

Could not give less of a shite about anything he says unless it’s him saying that he’s resigning

Money talks, if the fans are still buying tickets, merch, etc... and supporting this team at that point, then they deserve what they get.

The rest of the fans and players deserve a better product through better coaching (and at this point, better ownership).

This "support the entire organization no matter what or you're not a fan" nonsense needs to be gone from everyone's mindset.
