This guy Coleman that is evidently the 5th best WR of the draft but none of the 32 NFL teams were aware of it. Sammy Watkins, Mike Evans, ODB, Brandin Cooks, then Brandon Coleman. We got him, he's already made the roster and we're wondering why he's not going to hawaii with 82 catches and 1156 yds as a rookie. He's also made Jimmy Graham expendable.

Coleman is a beast!

My 6 favorite guys to make it

Marques Colston
Kenny Stills
Brandin Cooks
Joeseph Morgan - deep threat
Robert Meachem - blocking
Brandon Coleman - Should make the team, unless he just turns out to be a complete flop

Nick Toon - Coleman can make him expenble with a good showing. He could beat out Meachem though
Andy Tanner - Adios to this guy with Stills and Cooks
Chris Givens - Not enough spots available for him imo

Colston
Stills
Cooks
Morgan
Toon
Coleman/Meach depending on how much Coleman impresses people in camp.

I think we'll only carry 4 RBs this year which gives us room for 6 WRs on the roster this year. (I think it was 5RB and 5WR last year?)

Cadet will be the odd man out of an UDFA will shine of course.

I think Colston, Stills, Cooks, Morgan, Meachem, and Toon make the team

Red-shirt IR for Coleman if he doesn't improve his catching ability. He uses his body a bit too much, but his athleticism alone is too risky to stash him on PS at this point.

Yeah we brought in 5 of each last year. With Sproles gone and only adding an UDFA HB I find it hard to see us taking 5 in again.

I think the WR position would be battling for a special teams spot with a defensive position, though with a deep group I think we keep 6.

Cadet occupies this spot

I did not say return spot. Could be a gunner or someone on kick off coverage. CBs, WRs, and safeties usually occupy the gunner and wide roles on kick and punt coverage.

There's 2 gunners and more then one wide guy on kick off coverage.

Or do you just expect Cadet to play every spot at once?

Oh

I assumed you were cutting Cadet in your "i don't see us keeping 5 this year" scenario. I was merely informing you that Cadet was a gunner on our punt team, returned kicks, and covered kickoffs. Along with being able to play RB and line up as a WR.

Instead cutting Cadet and wasting a roster spot on this

maybe I misunderstood you

Nah this was talking about pure numbers.

Cadet's spot depends on several factors, the biggest depending on what Cooks can or can't do in the return game, and if an UDFA HB steps up. If not then there is no one that can take his spot because we aren't going in with 3.
