That at least eases the pain of MT being out for the season...a little.
Seriously though, Having JL back could really help. If nothing else, it'll open things up a little more for Olave. I feel good about Monday.

Can’t really claim it was stolen when the team gave him the contract, then the year he received the first $21M he broke all sorts of single year records. Then the next year was playing through injury while earning $11M, missed some games but fought to come back.
Argument could be made for 2021 when he was out all season and received just under $13M. But I think he’d have missed the entire season anyway since the first surgery didn’t resolve the issue and he needed a 2nd surgery that put him out another 8+ months (13 months from 1st surgery until the beginning of 2022).
2022 has been a shite show, but is being paid just under $16M and played 2 1/2 games before the toe/foot injury.
