Move the game to Monday night to give AT&T Stadium more time to be ready.

Exactly. Giving GB an extra home game could give them the #1 seed in the playoffs.

Again, frick Goodell.

I read somewhere that there is a concert there on the 15th and the contract states they need several days prior to concert for set up. So not sure if Dallas will work .

They'd have 2 full days plus any time after the game was over in Sunday. How much more time could they possibly need?

ETA This is who we might get bumped for

Los Bukis, known for their insane light show and high tech animatronics that take days to set up

#Saints/GB week 1 likely not happening at AT&T stadium because of a concert at the stadium that week. The venue will have to be an NFL one so the search continues but I’m told they will likely practice here in DFW at either TCU or SMU because of practice bubbles and availability

Mon night in Houston? Texans have Sun game, would league consider a day turnaround at NRG? I'd definitely go.

Any reason we can’t play Saturday night (other then it will compete with college games)?

If not Monday afternoon in Houston would be best.

What exactly is 'NFL ready'? MLB just had a game in a cornfield.

The old Rangers stadium could be an option.

It takes a bit to throw a party for 80,000 people.

AT&T has a concert on Wednesday (Los Bukis) and they had a contract that required them several days (must be at least 3 days) of set up time. So a very old mexican band that is doing a reunion tour after breaking up for 25 years will displace an NFL game. Well done Jerry.
