Cowherd is a good entertainer, but he is waayy off on this take. That's good, though. I like the naysayers.
Ain't saying the Saints will repeat as Super Bowl champs, but they will make a run as long as our QB is able to perform.

I'm just wondering if past SB champs got this same treatment from the media? I guess Cowherd and others forgot we have a pretty solid FO and coaching staff.

Cowherds show is purely entertainment. Don't expect logical expert opinions from him. I love Vikings fans. They provide great entertainment with their asinine comments. My dad has been a Saints fan for more than 20 years and for more than a decade he has lived in Minnesota and heard first hand how crazy their fans are. I'll be there for week 2 of the NFL season. A week 1 win will make that a very sweet trip.

Lets recap Cowherd's expert predictions with the Saints for the last year -
*Saints won 13 games, said that the Cowboys were going to win in the 'dome by 30.
*Saints lost to the Bucs, he states that they likely don't belong in the playoffs because they're obviously pretenders.
*Predicts the Cardinals to beat the Saints in the divisional round because the Cardinals are loaded with "stars". The Saints are loaded with decent players.
*Predicts that the Vikings will dismantle the Saints because Brett Favre is a gunslinger. No way that the Saints will get to him, and no way that Jarred Allen lets Drew Brees have enough time to throw.
*Predicts that the Colts will win Super Bowl 44, and it won't be close. The Colts have Peyton Manning, and that offense is built for Championships. Dwight Freeney will have multiple hits on Drew Brees.
I'll take that ignorant douche to downplay the Saints all day long. He has no earthly clue as to what he's talking about - EVER. He never played the game, not one single snap EVER. He's a talking mouth paid by ESPN to hype up the stars of the league, because that pays the bills.
Just take it for what it's worth - a moron that has NO CLUE what he's talking about.
