Growing up as Falcon fans and hating the Saints with a passion keeps him from coming although he really knows this is the best decision for him?

That’s some Saints type bad luck, dude could have been from 49 other states but is from our most hated rival area.

Or it could be living in the New Orleans area vs. living in the Atlanta area. I know which one I'd choose. The Saints lucked out trying to woo him in Houston instead of here.

Seriously? Atlanta is a sh&thole. I went there when lsu played Miami back in the bowl game. Got held at gunpoint one night and homeless people were everywhere. I know Georgia supposedly has nice areas but Atlanta is not one of them

You ever been to Atlanta? It’s just as much of a shite hole as New Orleans.

My son lives there. He couldn't believe my wife and I would walk around downtown by ourselves at night. My son is trying to get a transfer to Tennessee.

I went for the Saints vs. Falcons game during the super bowl year. Place is an absolute dump just like New Orleans. Only positive is that it doesn’t smell like a sewer.

Downtown nola > downtown atl
Atl suburbs > nola suburbs

Yes. It’s not that hard. We are fans so we are strictly invested in the “winning” aspect, but this dude has to live wherever he chooses for probably 10-15 years and he has to work for the organization he picks. If he doesn’t like the city or people or whatever, that’s a big deal. People have different levels of motivation for things. You can see how someone might want to live close to home for the rest of their long career.
