If i were BrandinCookem's alter, dont you think there would be two upvotes on all of our posts? And i like how you try to comment on someones use of the English language when you just posted an incomplete sentence right before you say we struggle with english. Good Job though!

This is not a complete sentence. When you're trying to insult someone for their poor use of the English language you should probably use proper English to do so.

That sentence is perfectly fine for informal writing. Derp

BTW, you made an error.

Oh, you were talking to Tiger. I thought you meant something I said. My bad, didn't see his post above mine. Nor did I see that you actually replied to him.

Carry on.

Our only decent player from the horrific draft of 2014 and people are bitching about a 1,000 yard season and possibly double digit touchdowns for a 2nd year player

might as well call it a 1200 yard year... Top 10 NFL WR year not good enough for a sophmore.

Do you guys even watch the games? What does the eye test tell you?

eye test tells me he has the quickness to be a deep threat for years. Eye test also tells me blocking as well as Cooks decision making needs to improve on shorter routes.

deep threat, has speed, quick on the get up w/ a bit of space, has progressed a lot over the course of sophmore year, has room for improvement, hope he gets better yet keeps on doing what he's doing.

Well said. I think one area we thought he would be better in is the short routes. He doesn't seem to have the wiggle in space I thought he would. And he's better at the long ball than thought as well. Maybe he's more of a straight line speed guy.
Plenty of time to see how he develops.

The only thing that is aggravating about Rouses is that we gave up an additional 3rd round pick to get him when that draft was loaded with WR's.

Going into 2014, I don't think they intended on not having Jimmy graham and stills for the future, so I understand why they went for one receiver.

Hindsight is 20/20. If we knew we were gonna ship off two of our top 4 guys We would have probably picked up someone else in the top 4 rounds.

Our fans are such homers

Look I took it too far but I still do not like Cooks as a #1. He is simply not who I thought he was.

He is a Ty Hilton/Desean Jackson type player and that's fine but that is all he is do not ever look at his stats and tell me he is some "great" player. He has a long way to go

He is the worst good young WR in the NFL imo, all the young cats would do what he does and more playing on our offense.

Hurns, Allen, Sammy, Cooper, John Brown, KB, a few more I'm forgetting

All these guys who dominate here. John Brown is his fricking clone in the damn 3rd round!!

Look homers SR had a thread with most agreeing on the same shite I'm telling you. Much more civilized arguments, feel free to read

[link=(saintsreport.com/forums/f2/cooks-star-350953/#.VoM00RbnbqA)]common sense[/link]

Of course the guys speaking truth got thumbs down

No such thing as a true number one reciever. This position was fabricated because of fantasy football.

Different kind of receiver and at the time had 3 viable receiving threats excluding cooks and his potential.

Cooks could put up 1200 yards and some of you are going to bitch and moan. Just be glad he isn't going to end up like Meachem.
