I think it's kind of a good thing to have players with a hunger to make plays. The guy isn't on social media calling out Drew or CSP.

I honestly don't believe Cooks is a true #1 WR. He's more Cruz in his prime than Steve Smith. He should ask to play inside sometimes.

Just to add some perspective, it's not exactly the first time in history a wideout complains about not getting enough looks. The Saints game plans seem to be very specific some weeks. Last week, he was gonna be a decoy, and if the defense didn't adjust, he was gonna remain a decoy.

Maybe this is part of a bigger plan to use him as a decoy. He complains and the Lions figure we are going to throw to him and not then teams won't believe we really going to throw to him and the we do.

The writing was on the wall by that point. I have no sources, but I strongly suspect something transpired before that game and Drew did that to put him in his place.

The season before Jimmy Graham was traded Drew did the same thing to him after he cut up in the media (and probably in the locker room / at practice too).

Almost the same exact scenario.

Drew doesn't like being told how to do his job by the people he makes look like superstars because he (Drew) is so good. He throw to some UDFA guy plucked from a practice squad and make him a 70 catch, 950 yard WR (and has done so with multiple guys since he's been with the Saints). If you want the ball, being a bitch about not getting it enough might work, but only because the Saints want to inflate the stats of guys they intent to trade the following offseason.

So one of the elite qbs of the league who is known for spreading the ball around didn't throw enough your way? Bye-bye and good riddence

Cooks finna blow it up next year in new England and get another ring. Smart move by his team. Another 7-9 season for N.O.

Yeah I guess I'm just not sure how we used the 32nd pick on two studs. Pretty sure you can only draft one player per pick and we got Ramcyzyk.
