If those two things happened it would be the smartest decision this front office has made since they traded Jimmy Graham. Lattimore has peaked and Ramczyk might not have another full season of football left in him due to his health issue. Not saying those guys weren't/aren't worth their contracts, but this franchise will not sniff a Superbowl anytime soon and the best thing they can do for the long-term is consolidate draft capital and get in a better cap situation.

Would be great to go back in time to fix every mistake but does all other 31 teams get to do the same in this scenario?

You really need a Time Machine to fix these mistakes? You draft players, they develop and turn out good, you lose them because you screwed up your cap for years, and then sign older cheaper and not so good players to make up for it. Then have to restructure said old players and keep them longer than you should. And the cycle never ends….

They bet wrong on Davenport. Hardly many were that upset when we actually lost him.

consolidate draft capital

I don't think anyone expects that we will get that much for Latt

And we'd be cutting Ram, so we get no draft capital

It won't really help with that.

We'll be trading cap hits for 2 good (or at least formerly good) guys in their prime years for cap hits of older guys past their prime. 2025 will be such a shite show we are going to have to do some crazy stuff with older players. Extending Carr, Hill, Mathieu, Davis, AK, etc.

He seems to be about done and will probably retire on his own unfortunately.

Yeah the injury is unfortunate both on and off the field.

I was just pointing out that Ram isn't going to help with any sort of rebuild because when he's done, he's done. We aren't trading him.

Until this team does the right thing and cleans out management and the head coach I really don’t give a frick. Hope we lose every game so Gayle won’t have a choice but even then I really think she would keep Loomis. He really fricked himself with the fans with how cocky he acted smacking on his gum twirling in his chair like a little schoolgirl.

No we are not. Teams would have more confidence in a two legged stool. Its just a waiting game to see if he can go. People don't want to wait anymore. And we have two weeks to go
