I love Clyde and hope he has a great NFL career
Trading Kamara for a second round pick to use that second round pick on Clyde is dumb. This season will be the last saints shot at a ring for a while.

You assuming that Kamara even plays this coming year. He might hold out the season for all we know. I’m not saying we should trade him specifically to get a pick for Clyde but would be smart to think about getting some compensation for him if it is offered. Murray is solid and we can find another back to complement him somewhere. They aren’t that hard to find. I would rather that happen then Kamara holds out and just causes distractions for the team.

Thing is, for those that dont watch LSU.
Clyde is an EXCELLENT reciever out of the backfield & split wide.
Add Short area quickness and great blocking to that. Think *Mark Ingram* in the Saints offense

Saints gotta draft Burrow in the first, Jefferson in the second, Clyde in the third and Moss in the fourth!

I've been thinking the same myself all last season, but if the CBA gets done, then a new TV follows this offseason, then I don't know if he does.
His TD numbers were way down in 2019, so an uptick in those numbers plus a bigger cap for the Saints to work with in 2021 while playing out his current deal might be the play for him.

So what?!
Thing for those that don’t watch Saints football. Saints need a WR, OG, OT, LBer S and DT more than we need a RB. We could also use a QB of the future. We have two really good running backs, one that doesn’t even get to play as much as most of us want.
We have 5 draft picks. 5!!! Now count our needs and count our picks and look at our roster.
Another RB is not a need. Think “Jaray Jenkins” in LSU’s 2019 offense.

It's not just the OP that is saying draft a RB..I don't get it we are good at RB barring injury or whatever. For offense we need a WR and OL..
I will be surprised if the Saints stay at their spot in the 1st or make some trade to get back into the 2nd..

Either Clyde or Jefferson will be a saint. Clyde could fall to 4th given the 40 time and the 40 cal.
