He’s likely going in the second round. We don’t have a second round pick.

What about other non-LSU RBs? Any chance on them? Any non-LSU WRs?

I’d trade Kamara for a 2 then use that to draft Clyde

What melt?

He's not even a reasonable pick. We won't burn a 1st on him and we have bigger needs in the 3rd. I highly doubt he's available in the 4th.

Not sure how that's a melt.

Drafting Clyde (whether we grab him in the third or move up into the second) would be a smart move. First, he is insurance if Kamara gets hurt. Second, the Saints could move him to the backfield and move Kamara as a third WR. Lastly, most importantly, Kamara will be a free agent next year. We would be overpaying him for what he is going to demand. You keep Clyde (who has a similar skill set) for a cheaper price.

Only way we draft CEH is if we trade AK or he falls in 3rd.

AK is worth more than a 2nd. Mia 26 or Seattle 27, GB 30.

Then you have to get lucky to move picks around b/c CEH ISnt worth 1st.

the melt will be when we don't trade up to get him - don't act like there won't be, cause you and I both know there will be.

The best you would get for Kamara is a 2nd and I would take that in heartbeat. Kamara had a down year last year. Doesn’t matter if he was injured or not it was still a down year. Rb is also a devalued position and no one is paying a first. Lastly whoever trades for him will need to pay him top money and he is going to hold out to try to get it. Honestly, a 3rd is probably more likely but a 2nd is the ceiling

This is the dumbest thing I’ve seen here in a while. That includes the overflow of tiger rant posters this time of year with their retarded takes

It is honestly not that dumb. Kamara is going to hold out this offseason for a big contract and It would not be smart for us to sign him with us being tight on salary cap. There are other players that are much more vital to our success that should be priority. We should trade Kamara and get what we can. Paying top pay for a running back is not a good investment. CEH would actually fit our offense quite well. Regardless we should get what we can for Kamara while we can.

BS.

That's the typical BS bash LSU fans argument. It's one of the reasons ST is so bad. CEH is not a reasonable pick.
