Raiders are releasing Wilkins a year after signing him to a 4 year 110 million dollar contract. Appears they’re cutting him because of how he handled his foot rehab after breaking it early in the season.
When healthy Wilkins is a game changing DT. I would hope the saints take a a look at him and bring him in for a physical and visit.
29 years old and some really good years could lie ahead.

Doesn’t sound like a good fit for Oschner after they botched MTs rehab.

Honestly this answer surprises me. Interior of our dline has been well below avg since we lost onyemata and others. Having bresee and Wilkins would be a pretty legit dline with Godchaux playing early downs would be turn that dline from a question mark to a strength. With that being said, a lot of questions about Wilkins at this point

I think that with the stage that the Saints are in, we should not be adding any veteran older than 27-28.

But the Raiders have to get serious to keep up in the division they are in, and the fact they are cutting him loose.
Pass IMO.
He'll probably sign with a contender or a team that gives him a Godfather offer which hopefully isn't us.
