You should get two but if either is overturned you get another and should keep getting challenges until one is not overturned. Why penalize a team when the refs have an awful game, last night being a good example.

Are you ok retard?

Tell me why you think it’s logical for a team to lose a challenge after they won it.

Thomas' dumbass was at fault for that first challenge for egging Payton on.

The rule should be like a timeout with a challenge. If you win the challenge you still will have that challenge. If you lose the challenge you will lose that challenge. Two challenges per game is fine as long as you don't lose them if you are right.

they should just simplify it to you get a challenge for each time out you have left.

plus you should be able to challenge a false start or to get a missed personal foul called after review such as targeting, or face mask.

officials should be instructed to rule players down by dropping the bean bag marker but dont blow the whistle stopping play so down by contact can be reviewed.

Or perhaps a tiered approach. You should only lose challenges if the call on the field is confirmed. If it is overturned, you have one more challenge. Both of those like it is now. But if a call stands, you shouldn’t be penalized either. You shouldn’t be punished if there aren’t any good camera angles or if it was too close to confirm.

Not sure if they would be the best idea. There would be WAY too many challenges if you aren't punished if a play stands rather than being confirmed. I've always liked the idea of having 2 challenges that you can get wrong, like other posters have already mentioned.

we went 1 for 2 on challenges and MT begged for the challenge flag on his "catch". Mightve been a catch too just not enough evidence to overturn.

It’s really stupid especially if the team wins at least one of the challenges. Make challenges like CFB or at least tied to TOs.

If you have a TO then u can challenge. If u win then u keep TO. If u lose then u lose the TO. Seems like a really simple fix that doesn’t penalize a team bc of poor officiating.

I'll give partial credit for that. Thomas certainly influenced Payton but coach should have enough sense to look at the replay and know that it was never going to be reversed regardless if MT actually caught it or not.

Why should coaches even have the challenge anything? There should be a team of Eagle Eye experts up in a booth somewhere watching every replay and calling down to the refs to correct the call on the field. This should include non calls as well. The officials are human and there's only so many of them on the field at one time trying to watch 22 players engaged with one another. They can't see everything.

Why should a team have to lose a challenge because of the incompetence of a referee(s)?.... ref makes a screwed up call and a team knows they are right so they have to throw the challenge flag to prove their point ... team is right but loses a challenge anyway.... who was the genius that came up with that scenario....
