Agreed. if you cut him though, it all falls into that football calendar year. if he's really hurt, he's not going anywhere. Put him on IR or if he's pulling BS, place him on a suspension. Can still spread the cap hit out, but you just don't have to deal with his presence at any team facility, other than possibly rehab. Thankfully, he's played his last game in a team uniform and its just how to best spread the financial pain.

Man, I was kind of on the fence about Carr, but this blew it. Screw him. He should have to pay that money back. I think he knew about this before the contract thing. Partly on loomis too, they should’ve cut him a couple months ago and just rebuilt. We could’ve went with Rattler this coming season and got a good draft pick in ‘26.
