Outplayed is a strong word. Penning had 2 significant holding penalties. Ram just sucked a bit more.

Would rather the lineman hold to save the QB than consistently get beat and allow our QB to get killed. No one on the OL is playing well. He just was better than Ram this week (not saying a lot).

Jameis eats a W in the Dome this week vs his former team and Carr returns in New England

I just hope he doesn't rush back and risk re-injury. We all know the sacks aren't going to stop any time soon...

Why do people keep saying this like its even remotely true? Stop making shite up!! This bullshite 5 straight three and outs has been debunked numerous times on this board. Isn't it enough to say we scored no points with Winston at QB? Do you have to put lies out there?

It isn't great, but its better than what we have behind him.
We were 2-0, and up 17-0 with him.

Too much blame is going on Winston. Pete Carmichael is where damn near all the blame should go with his crazy arse play calling when Carr went down.

Go look at the backup QB stats, they were perfectly fine. 10/16 (some guys dropped balls thrown right in their chests) over 100+ yards passing and no interceptions surprisingly. The dumbass o line and kicker need to be kicked in the arse.

Carr is a leader… this is the difference between him and Winston. Leaders motivate and elevate the players to perform at their optimum level.

I think no matter how Carr feels, you roll with Jameis and try to grind out a win at home. Protect Carr for a week and see how he feels next week

Agree.

Going back and looking at Jameis he went 10-for-16 and almost the exact same yardage that Carr threw for.

I guess what kind of leaves me feeling iffy is what happened the last time he played Tampa at the Dome. Things were going all right but then the second half he started blowing up and throwing interceptions.

I do agree the team sees Carr as a leader. He is easily the better qb. I hope that isn't up for debate.

The Saints can win enough games with Carr at qb.
