Again, the first personal attack in our interaction was you calling me a “frickin idiot”. All because I made the factual post that Carr took the Raiders to the playoffs twice. Yet you think you’re the rational one in this situation?
This is literally how you started your post to me.

There’s no point arguing with people like you.
Wtf does that even mean? Thats not personal?
In regards to the “idiot” comment I regret saying that and that was my fault. But your first post to me- literally the first statement is gaslighting at its finest. Before you began your argument you made it seem like I was irrationally stuck on “hating Carr.” When that wasn’t the case. So maybe if you want to prove your point- stop labeling people before you argue with them.

Carr’s floor is a good bit higher than Lamar and Allen? What? Their “bad” games are mitigated by their ability to run. Bad games are few and far between. They are in the MVP race every season and their win % is probably top 3-5 over the last few years.
According to QBR, yes. I’m just going by what y’all are using as the measuring stick here.

People hate players sometimes. It’s a waste of time to try and change their minds.
Not a personal attack at all. Ironically, that’s just you being overly emotional again.

And Carr has an 11 year career littered with more bad than good. It’s not a difficult argument to back up
We’re all about facts here. Its been 10 years and 8 games ;)

I never stated in any of my posts I hate Carr. Gaslighting again.

I apologized for calling you an idiot. Your response-“ I didn’t make a personal attack and your emotional.” Every response on here is you somehow judging my emotional state- when you have no idea- because you enjoy gaslighting people.
Even when someone apologizes and tries to make amends you continue to gaslight them. All because you can’t stand anyone talking bad about Carr. You realize how ridiculous that sounds right?

Give opinions all you want. Just don’t try to call them facts.

Bro I don’t give a shite what you called me or that you apologized.

You’re the one with your panties in a wad because you think I said some mean things.

Here we go again with the gaslighting. Time to make a demeaning female comment on the poster even though RGB uses female gaslighting tendencies to elicit responses or try to win arguments.
Do you feel like your more of a man now with that comment “bro”? Not once have you addressed my gaslighting comment? Do you have any idea what that is? Love to hear your response it. Oh wait you can respond with some comment- Im being overly emotional. Go ahead.

Honestly, I’ve just been here for the melt for the last 3 pages or so. I’m not even really reading your posts anymore.
Just trying to get you to say “gaslighting” or call me a woman.

Yet you keep responding. You’re such a clever guy. Brian will find this hilarious. Have a good one. And its ok if you’re female- nothing wrong with that.

Only thing better than these responses is the random downvote of some of my posts. Its been a pleasure “gaslighting” you for a few hours

I don’t think I would ever stand on QBR. The other guy thought it was an apt measure
And Ribby you’ve done enough of these to know ya gotta vet the numbers before trying to bring them to the forum for argumentative purposes

I get all that but you really think Loomis and DA signed Carr to be a middling QB- that was the plan all along? That hey lets waste money on a guy who can’t take us anywhere. And then lets extend that same guy, play middling football, and reset in 2026. You think is the master plan? Or what really happened is they got fooled by Carr’s stats with the Raiders, thought they could win with him by turning his career around, and they just continue what they had with Payton and Brees- and that all went to shite.
After a year of Winston, Allen convinced Loomis he needed Carr to win. I’ve said since day one, Allen was a shite hire but Loomis dumass thought he was a good coach and threw a life line to him in the form of Carr. Probably to prove to us idiot fans he’s a good gm and made a great hire since he was the next Bill Belicheck.
I’m not sure what you are saying by Carrs great stats with the Raiders having tricked us, it’s undeniable his stats have been way better with the saints than any time with the Raiders.

Anything that has Carr as a top 5 QB is suspect, but I do think he’s played better this year than last, and I think he’s playing right to his contract *this year. Somewhere between 15-20.
Next year, when he’s paid as a top 5 QB, and the year after, when he’s paid as a top 7 are a problem.
I do think we will see the new HC move on from him after 2025 though.

Wins 142.5 rating vs CAR (3-7) 125 rating vs DAL (3-7) 126.9 rating vs ATL (6-5) 129.6 rating vs CLE (2-8) Losses 69.1 rating vs PHI (8-2) 82.8 rating vs ATL (6-5) 89.9 rating vs KC (9-1) 92.9 rating vs CAR (3-7) Great season stats I guess if you like playing .500 football
So you are complaining because he had 4 games of an elite level rating, two above average and two below average?
Only 6 quarterbacks finished the year last year with a rating over 100. So 6 of 8 games of above average to elite level play is a problem now ?

I agree with your other points. In regards to tricking- I guess what I’m saying is they saw Carr’s earlier stats in his Raider years and assumed that as a coaching staff- they would be able to replicate that and win with Carr. Basically convinced that Carr’s contract was worth it despite the issues with the rest of the roster. Obviously we have seen thats not doable.
Posted on 11/20/24 at 4:35 pm to Townedrunkard
Using the stat you chose in the OP and breaking it down by game is complaing?
6 above average?
89.9 rating vs KC would have been 20th in the NFL in 2023.
92.9 vs CAR -- You lost to a one win CAR team and Carr went 18/31 (58.1%0, for 236 and a score. You out here talking about above average. Dont ya think you win the ballgame if Carr is above average there?
Please kindly respond

I’d say a 90 rating is average, so 4 elite level games, one average and yes one above average.
Olave got knocked out of that game real early. Above average is not bad figuring you lost your number one receiver majority of the game. Kinda throws off your game plan going from Olave to an udfa rookie starting.
Think it was far worse letting Bryce Young hang over 20 on you than getting above average qb play with no receiver talent playing. Young had been historically bad before that point.
