Excited to see what he can do, I like the athleticism and energy. If he thrives here in the system look out.

Movement in the pocket to avoid pressure.
Leading receivers.
Going through progressions.
Touch so we can have screen passes.

Competent QB play.

It’s beautiful. I’ve missed it so much.

He was in an impossible situation with the Raiders. Relocations, coaches being canceled/fired. Josh McDaniels. 1st round WR's ruining their life with bad choices.

Yet he was the problem

This is coaching. Can’t tell you how many times they have refused to make this adjustment in games when we’re getting heavy pressure.

My point is - I hope it sticks and we don’t go vanilla by mid season.

I'm not sure we had a QB capable of this

I saw him chatting with Mike Thomas and read his lips “I’ll remember that next time.” That’s encouraging. Seems like he has the right temperament to connect with big ego divas… the guy really seems like a humble dude and good leader

He literally showed us everything we want a QB to do in that one drive. It was beautiful and I hope that’s what we’re getting when the season starts.

And there's people here that wanted to keep Dalton, who lost a job to a shitty rookie QB prior to any game being played, over signing Carr

Not saying saints fans, nationally there had been a knock Carr blaming him for the failures to an extent.

Impossible situation leads to terrible be results, he actually managed it very well in Oakland.

The benched Carr at the end of the season

He turned some heads, so let’s run to the betting apps or casinos to drop some coin to put the Saints to win the NFC South or the Superbowl.

It was one drive, folks. I will believe the hype when we are 7-0 like a poster’s dream.

Unfortunately like a typical Saints season, a key player or two will get hurt and we will somehow miss the playoffs.
