I am just trying to see how much should I invest in the upcoming season.

How many did Marino win?

Handle your investments wisely.

No. Divisional round team at best. I’d still consider that a good season though.

If everyone stays relatively healthy 100% yes.

If you said SB contenders, but probably can't win it all as their ceiling; you may have some merit. But, the talent level in the NFC just doesn't appear to be there and the NFC may truly be up for grabs.

Out side of the LAR, GB & TB, you don't have any true "sure fire" playoff teams. And all of these have their flaws. LAR lost a lot coming off SB, who does Rodgers throw to, What does a Todd Bowles team look like, and is this the year Brady hits the age wall?

Other teams:
In the west you have Seattle in rebuild, SF going w/ Trey lance, and it appears Murray is not the answer in Az.
East: Until someone steps up and does something, none of them appear to be challengers
North: Vikings will be interesting, Chicago & Detroit appear to continue to suck
South: Atl & Car appear they are in rebuild mode for the next few years

If they fill a few key spots, the Saints will be no worse than they were before Winston got injured, and should even be better with the return of MT & Lutz.

No. Unless 1 of the 1st round picks is a qb that's gunna come out of nowhere and light it up.

Well... we lost a spot in the playoffs by a hair with a team missing it's starting QB for 9 1/2 games, elite RB for at least a third of the season and elite WR for the whole season. Went through 4 different place kickers plus a huge amount of injuries across the offense and defense. So somewhere I am missing your logic.

It pains me to say it, but Dallas would certainly be considered a challenger coming out of the East. They should win the division by default. Whether or not they shite the bed in the first round of the playoffs is another story, but going into the season, you have to consider them a better team than the Saints.

Gonna need Carmichael to be the next Sean Payton for this to happen.

Still unsure how this keeps getting lost on people.

I don't see that. I am not overly familiar with their depth chart from last season, but I believe they lost 2 starters on their o-line, their WR2, starting DE, and backup TE.

People bitch on here about the Saints not getting better, but so far based on the offseason I think Dallas definitely got worse.

Well jameis was a 1st round pick and was making huge strides with ball security before injury. So according to how you and many others feel, he can come out if nowhere.

It's easy , it's because of the hatred for jameis. They would rather see us lose than win with him

Some people just look at the win-loss column and don't stop to consider what transpired during the season.

What does this even mean?

This team, with ALL THE INJURIES AND COVID BS, almost made the Wild Card round last year with Trevor Siemien and Ian Book combining to start as many games as Taysom, who was the #2 QB for a reason. These guys all tried to run an offense with an 80% MIA OL and no CGM and no Kamara for 6 games w/injuries.
I HIGHLY DOUBT we will see the historic-number of starters due to injuries/illness that we saw last year... And I highly doubt many teams would've been able to come out with a winning record.
By "Almost made" the playoffs, we needed the team that eventually won the SB to not blow a 21 point lead... seemed reasonable.

This team is a Super Bowl Champion at best, but I'd still call losing in the Divisional round a decent but disappointing season.

If the Bucs are SB contenders, then we are SB contenders.
