Tightend? 6'2" 4.4 speed. I wouldn't mind if he could catch the ball.

He's the most enticing QB prospect we've had since Payton has been here. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Payton was being serious about him becoming our next starting QB.

forgive me for disagreeing, but why is this guy getting so much love when half of fanbase didnt know of him 3 days ago. I love the kid from what I've seen, but we need to slow our roll on him being our future franchise qb..

I saw this kid at BYU, and he’s a baller! The only thing that held him back was injuries. He could easily lead this offense run by Payton if and when Drew decides to hang it up. But hey, who’s rushing him? I’m enjoying the ride!

I watched him play almost all through college. He would have been a high pick if he had more talent around him, was a bit younger, and didn't have the injury history he has. He's kind of like Jake Locker with a brain.

He was a hell of a runner but not much of a passer. I have a hard time seeing him doing more at the QB position than maybe replacing Chase.

He was faster than all of his WRs. I don't think one of them even sniffed an NFL practice squad.

So? It's not like all the CBs BYU faced were all world. BYU isn't exactly Slippery Rock, they've had good enough players to make a bowl every year except this year.

No shite. My point is that held him back. His age.

They were much more talented than BYU's WRs.

You're just guessing and don't know what you're talking about. Call Sean Payton an idiot then. He apparently doesn't know what he's talking about.

fair enough. Thought you meant his young age held him from having big numbers in College. My bad.

No problem.

It was definitely his conservative offense that held him back in college. He has the ability to make all the throws. He unfortunately didn't have WRs that could run all the routes.

I definitely see him as a Jake Locker type. I just hope his football IQ is higher.

Most of the regulars on here were excited about him when we signed him from the Packers

He's talking up a young player. It's common and not gospel. You're taking it too seriously. Payton has already walked it back some for people who don't understand that.

And then there was the hype. Fox announcers Joe Buck and Troy Aikman reported that Saints coach Sean Payton has told them in production meetings over the past couple of weeks that Hill is the quarterback who will one day replace Drew Brees. Payton disputed that characterization on Monday. "What I said was, ‘This player, as a special-teams player, I think is gonna do very well. And we like the prospect as a quarterback,'" Payton said. "I think we saw enough on tape to claim him and put him on our active roster. But anything we do with regards to where we’re going forward is certainly something that’s gonna be won and lost on the field."

Hill originally signed w Stanford and Harbaugh, but would’ve had to end his mission trip early and enroll in school late. So he went to BYU. Coming out NFL scouts talked about him playing different positions due to athleticism and strength

The cart is getting a bit ahead of the horse here with him

Before he is crowned Drew II can we at least see him play QB for ONE FREAKIN DOWN?

I was too, but I, like most of us, expected him to stay on the practice squad. No one can tell me they thought he would be an all pro special teams player
