C) Falcons upset 49ers to help Saints playoff bye hopes

Which are winnable games for those two

But we won our division so both Seattle and SF can’t be ahead of us.

in a 3 way tie (with GB) Seattle can jump ahead of us without use of our head-to-head win

Rams only chance for playoffs is the win the next 2 and have Vikings lose the next 2.
Luckily, the Rams play on Saturday, and the Vikes on Sunday night, so the Rams are still alive and fighting for that matchup.

Then why are people saying Seattle has #1 seed right now and we’re at #3 still behind SF
It doesn’t work that way. Retard

the first 4 playoffs seeds are ranked amongst division leaders. the 5th & 6th seeds are the next best records.
So the Saints are guaranteed a top 3 seed at this point since the NFC East is so bad.
At this point, if we win out + either the Packers (play Vikes next week) or 49ers lose (play Seattle in 2 weeks) = we get a first round bye. If both the Packers & 49ers lose once, we get the #1 seed

You fukin retard Seattle right now is in 1st place in there division. San Fran is behind us . If playoffs started tomorrow we are the 3 seed. GB and Seattle are ahead of us. San Fran would be 5 seed. But we have lots of football left to be played.
Key word or words-If playoffs started tomorrow.

I know how it works.
You can’t say that both Seattle and SF are both ahead of the Saints at this point given that we’ve already secured a division. One of them will be in the top 4 the other will be a wildcard.

Bingo we have a winner. I started a thread with this very scenario but nobody responded in the thread yet

Not exactly true. If LA, who will be desperate, beats San Fran next week and then Frisco goes on the road and beats Seattle then they’ll both finish 12-4.
And the opposite is true. If Seattle loses to Arizona, LA loses to San Fran and Seattle then beats the Niners then we leapfrog both. Basically, both need to finish 12-4. Then it doesn’t matter if GB loses again

No read the thread you fricking retard. There are posters saying both Seattle and SF are both ahead of us. God dammit you’re a fricking idiot.

Playoff rankings after week 15 don’t matter. Feel like it keeps being overcomplicated in these threads. For #1 seed we just need the bolded below to happen. In the last 10 years the #1 seed has made the super bowl 60% of the time (12/20 teams).
1) We win out finish 13-3.
2) Seahawks win out they finish 13-3 and we hold the tiebreaker over them and they win their division.
3) Packers lose a game in final 2 weeks and at best they finish 12-4
