There are moving trucks in front of Cam Jordan’s Old Metry house right now

I would be extremely surprised if that's related to contract talks, as there would have had to have been a complete and utter breakdown into an unrecoverable position for it to be decided this early. Both his and Demario's contracts aren't scheduled to void until March 10th (the day before FA), and these things are almost always extremely drawn out unless both sides start surprisingly close (or one side holds all or almost all of the leverage).

He may just be getting a jump on moving to his future home for after next year, as this is likely his last year in the league anyway.

Demario and Taysom don’t own here or stay around in the offseason, they’ve been gone

Maybe that lights a fire under the Saints to go edge early. I think Cam had a solid season that included a lot of coverage/fluke sacks. If he’s gone and wanted $10mil or more, that is the right move letting go.

Sure, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t own another home here

My response to that was that if he doesn’t want an incentive based contract….the Saints should move on. Cam NEEDS an incentive based contract. It’s not some big coincidence that in a year where he had to hit thresholds to make more money…..he all of a sudden pops out a 10 sack season.

I agree. Last two years, Saints vastly overpaid for his services. The year before his contract is up, he has a good year. At his age you can’t do more than a one year incentive deal. Nobody is giving him some big money multi year deal.

If u watched the games, you’d know this was true. 8 of his sacks came the last 8 games when Chase young was heating up at the end of the year. He forced a lot of plays that Cam cleaned up.
