to be fired!

Coaching record by year.
2012: 4-12
2013: 4-12
2014: 0-4
2022: 7-10
2023: 7-8

Overall coaching record.
22-46

Coaching record for the Saints.
14-18

But wait, there’s more! In Dennis Allen’s tenure as Saints coach, he is 3-9 against teams with a winning record.

2022
Minnesota (13-4) L
Seattle (9-8) W
Bengals (12-4) L
Ravens (10-7) L
Pittsburgh (9-8) L
49ers (13-4) L
Eagles (14-3) W

2023 (so far)
Houston (8-6) L
Jaguars (8-6) L
Colts (8-6) W
Detroit (10-4) L
Rams (8-7) L

Dennis Allen owns Garner Minshew as he has beat him twice as a starting QB (2022 Eagles & 2023 Colts). The win against the Seahawks was won at the end of the game on a 60 yard run by Taysom Hill.

Now let’s look at this year’s schedule.

W Titans 5-9
W Panthers 2-12
L Packers 6-8
L Buccaneers 7-7
W Patriots 3-11
L Texans 8-6
L Jaguars 8-6
W Colts 8-6
W Bears 5-9
L Viking 7-7
L falcons 6-8
L Lions 10-4
W Panthers 2-12
W Giants 5-9
L Rams 8-7

We beat one team with a winning record this year.
Three of our wins (almost half) were against back-up QBs. (Colts, Bears & Giants)
We’ve lost to four teams that are .500 or below.
Three of our wins (almost half) are against the worst teams in the NFL. (Panthers, Patriots & Panthers)

Looking at this year objectively or subjectively, there is no way Dennis Allen should be retained as head coach of the Saints.

FIRE DENNIS ALLEN!!!

Come on man, if you’re going to discount the win against Seattle because Taysom did some Taysom things. Then you also need to asterisk the Philly game since DA got to go against his buddy Gardner as Philly was setting up for their playoff run

Maybe he can convince Gardner to move into the NFCS so he can make sure he has 2 more wins next year

Not discounting it. Just clarifying that it was a close game we had to make a comeback at the end to win.

Dennis Allen is a bum.

So in the last 24 hours Underhill and Ian have hinted that DA is probably safe if things keep going as they are.

Man is that depressing

All this does is show he’s progressively getting better lol, especially if they win one more game

I’m confused. If things keep going as they are? We just got dominated by the rams. Their previous 2 game winning streak was against 2 of the worst teams in the league. Last year one could say “he had Jameis and Dalton”. This offseason he decided to keep his buddy and the worst OC in the league, then pushed to have his qb and signed him to a massive contract. They have the easiest schedule in the league in the worst division that football has seen in years. And he’s won 7 games. I do believe they keep Allen but this entire staff should be gone.

I think Dennis stinks as a head coach but the part about beating teams with back up QBs is irrelevant.

Think about how many other teams have wins over back ups both this season and last. That's just the way it's been lately in the NFL

But anyway I've never felt more apathetic watching the Saints and Dennis is one of the main reasons why
