Pretty sure we had to permit it, so maybe this loomis trying to keep the staff together is nonsense.

Hopefully means we’re hiring an offensive minded HC, but I doubt it cause Loomis is a clown

Only way I could see them giving kubiak permission to interview is if we’re hiring a guy like Brady who wants to run his own offense anyway.

I have a hard time seeing Glenn taking the job if he can't pick his staff.

Well when you’re in limbo and you can’t guarantee these guys will have jobs, you have to let them at least take other interviews during hiring season

Kubiak HAS to go interview there (assuming the Saints grant permission) from a career strategical standpoint but damn, Cleveland would be a conflicting situation to move to.
On the one hand, things could only get better in going from the Saints but the Browns historically are worse than the Saints (Super Bowl era).
Watson’s contract and presence and rehab… that’s worse than the Carr situation.
Of course if you have any real measure of success next year as an OC in Cleveland, folks would appreciate it because of where they are today. And that could set Kubiak up for a HC job somewhere.
So it is tempting to some degree. And there are only 32 of those jobs in the league and the one he’s presently in ain’t getting appreciably better anytime soon.

Let him walk. Seriously other than the first 2 games what has he done to show that he should be retained? His idiotic play calling got Carr hurt the first time. I don't understand why saint fans want to keep him or ANYONE from the current staff.

Likely means Loomis is not being a dick and preventing the assistants and coordinators from possibly advancing their careers while the Saints HC spot is in limbo.
If you could consider Cleveland and advancement in a career.

Watson is out all next year. Their head coach is an offensive coach. And likely to be fired next year if they don’t make the playoffs. Worse situation than the Saints.
