I'm looking at 24 draft as well. I want as many chips as possible for that draft.

He was down to his fourth string QB and a WR corps made up of Practice Squad players who got bumped to gameday team out of necessity - everyone above them on the depth chart was injured.

And he barely missed the playoffs. Name me another coach who could do that.

Tomlin, and.....

Well, Tomlin.

This part is what should concern us all. I’ve got a bad feeling Loomis will not seek enough “compensation” so his old pal SP can move on and be happy.

Some of you thinking the Broncos are giving a first or Wilson are crazy.

Wilson can't be traded, has like a $170m cap hit. Broncos have no first round picks til 2025.

Yeah literally just looked it up and you're right, should probably look stuff up first.

I guess the real question then is whether SP is just using Denver to get to where he really wants or whether that's his ideal destination.

If I were a HC I'd be hoping like hell the Chargers were interested.

Honest question because my memory kind of sucks. But what trade has Loomis failed us on other than the CJ trade?

Im just trying to figure out where all this "Loomis will sell low talk" comes from. Because all the reports have them asking for a 1st AND MORE

This isn’t the average trade though. Please correct me if I am wrong, but current players cannot be involved- compensation must be draft picks?

People are getting confused with player contracts. As a player you have to play in order for a contract to lapse. Its why the Lions still have the rights to Calvin Johnson.

Doesnt work like that with coaches. Although i wish it would. McVay is trying to pull the same thing right now.

That is correct.

You are right. Its not an average trade. So why would i just assume he will sell low? Im not picking on you its just been a theme on here with a ton of guys

What would stop the Broncos and Saints just doing two different trades at the same time?

I hope my gut feeling about Loomis is wrong, and that he will be aggressive with the demand for compensation. Also, should we get a first round pick it better be a good one in terms of drafting a franchise-type player and not a guy like Project Peat.

I wondered that myself and as much as I hate the league office they are not dumb. Im guessing they would see this as an attempt to trade players for a coach and void it.

My guess is they will give up their first and a future.

That’s it.

Now if Miami or rams get in the mix, that would be a good thing.

1st and Wilson. I feel like this season was a fluke for RW. Terrible coaching ruined him. We need a QB and I’ll take him.
guess you didn’t realize that it’s been said the Broncos locker room hates Wilson
