it should have AT LEAST been called a TD on the field and that is an absolute fact.
how you can deny that as a TD is ridiculous.
I agree!
No way in hell, in live action could the damn ref see that single blade of white grass get touched.
I agree he was out of bounds after seeing the replay 100 times, but it was so close, they would have had to keep the call on the field. Not disputable enough to be overturned either way.
a-hole got lucky he called it " right"

Here's the thing...if Graham just raises his right leg like a baseball slide, it's a TD. Hindsight is 20/20, but let's let it rest. Saints win, no biggie.

Is this image before or after the supposed single blade of grass?

lots of people here think they know the rules of football. and they are completely wrong. If this was called a TD it isn't being overturned....which by the way would be the correct call because there isn't enough evidence to overturn it.
with that being said, if you called it out of bounds and incomplete, you're saying that there isn't enough evidence to overturn it to a touchdown. This is the reasoning I can't understand.
If it's called a TD and you can't overturn it for lack of evidence, and if there wouldn't be enough evidence to overturn it when called incomplete, which is the "correct call" if there isn't sufficient evidence to overturn either?
btw, that's clearly a touchdown. as a ref, i'm pretty sure you go with a TD call and then use replay, as you're supposed to, to disprove it if possible.

"Call on the field stood" -- correct?
Even if he did touch a blade of fricking grass.. does that mean that the out of bounds area is dependent on the length of the tallest blade of grass? That's absurd.

Jesus Christ. His toe touched OOB as evidenced by the reaction of the white grass bouncing upward after contact. Any contact OOB make a player OOB.
This was clearly the correct call.
AS for the orignal call, the refs gat that right too. There is no way they should assume the toe hovers over the ground not touching it.

In the "super slow mo" that they showed during gametime you could see the upward response of the OOB grass more clearly. Toe touched OOB.

You can sort of see it in this video but this one doesnt have the super closeup slomo shot that we got to see during the actual game.

great still shot. except for the part that he's already touch out of bounds about a half second earlier than in the pic you decided to post.

They even agree with me on there. That's a touchdown all day.
