I actually expect a lot more Taysom. Designed runs for him, passes to him and from him. I expect a wrinkle or two from Payton, esp since he knows Brees is coming back soon. He might be more likely to take some risks with Taysom

I’m also thinking we won’t see any of these players for the Cardinals game if we somehow win this one

Kamara is the only loss. Trequan has been missing basically all season. Cook is on and off. Probably wouldn't have done shite this game anyway. Still like our chances to win this game. Bears offense has a banged up o-line and a bad QB that is injured.
This. All of this.

FYI, most recent Bears home game Chicago held Dalvin Cook to 2.5 yards per carry for 35 total rushing yards.

Agreed. Assuming we beat Chicago...the only way I'd play any of them against the Cards is if the player is 100%.

The Bye week is, literally, at the perfect time for us. Starting week 10...this team is going to be a nightmare for opposing teams. We're probably going to embarrass a few teams.

Teddy Bridgewater can handle the workload while Brees is out

Why?

We're missing our weapons. Teddy is slow in going thru his progressions, a recipe for disaster against Mack and that defense. They will be all over Thomas. Yes, we can still be in this game, especially with our defense balling out. Those on here thinking we win rather easily are either high, already drinking, or flat out delusional. We need to ugly this game up. Pigs-rooting-around-in-slop ugly. Field position using Morestead. Lutz drilling 50 yarders. Using Hill to do God-knows-what. This could be bad, guys.

If we can pull off 6-2 heading into the bye, we’re good to go.

We’d need Trubisky to play like absolute shite

Based on his ability and our Def; this is possible.

And our offense to not turn it over

As long as TB continues to take what the Def gives him and not force anything; this is possible.

Put Murray and Hill on the field at the same time, keep everything fast and short, drain the clock.

Need to run the play clock down from the 1st possession; adjust in the 2nd half if we fall behind 2 scores.

Our gameplan should be to make it ugly and let Lutz + Morestead win the game. Basically your high school coach’s wet dream.
