Stats aren't that dazzling, 4 catches 44 yards for Coleman, 3 and 49 and TD for Hill, but that's what we desperately needed. I feel like Snead is just a lost cause at this point and finding production outside of Thomas and Kamara in the passing game was a struggle. We needed more and Coleman and Hill showed to me that they are ready to step up. Let's keep it up

And bonus props to Tedd "Stickum" Ginn Jr.

I'm just happy if he protects it.

You're right, their stats aren't eye popping. But it was the timing of these catches that made them so important.

We have to cut ties with Snead after this season, he's barely a warm body out there. Nice to Hill elevating his play in the playoffs. Hopefully he keeps playing like this throughout the playoffs.

Coleman just needs to realize that he isn't a yac receiver. Get to the sticks, make the catch, then go to the ground. Play to your strengths. The way he separates the ball from his body when he is running scares the shite out of me.

Yes, the Marvin Harrison method.

Minus the shooting people of course.

Coleman still dropped a ball. He’s lucky Ingram bailed his arse out.

Hill though has come through. I know a lot of ppl give him shite, especially on here, but props to him definitely.

Both of them make me nervous but I'll be delighted if they can hold onto the ball after a catch.

Hill did an especially nice job last game. The back shoulder catch was great.

Coleman is literally big for nothing. You would assume this guy would've been a redzone threat in his career... nope.. he's soft af

I cringe every time Coleman catches a ball and runs, I'm just waiting for the ball to be fumbled after every reception.

Isaac Bruce perfected the catch and drop.

Anyway, I don't think there's any good reason to cut Snead. I have no idea what his issue is other than some saying he's lost a step due to getting out of shape. Weird. Think he'd be back in shape by now.

Anyway, give him a low tender and a full offseason and TC to see if he can get back to form. Little risk.

We do need another WR though. It's very interesting they've kept Carr all year on the active roster but never played him. They obviously like him to keep the roster spot.

I was glad to see both of them get involved, but for the love of God, Coleman needs to hang on to the fricking ball. I hold my breathe every time he catches it. Had he lost that one, Carolina gets the ball on our side and probably at least gets a FG. All other things equal they would have only needed a FG at the end to win.

Props to Line as well. He’s stepped up and made big plays when needed.

That being said, Ginn, Hill, Line and Coleman will need big games this week. I think the Vikings are going to try to take away Thomas, Kamara and Ingram and make the other role players step up. Would be a great game for Snead to find his groove.

As a true pass catcher, he lacks severely. He makes us all nervous after the catch also.

but the man is a run blocking machine, especially on screen plays.

It has to be a numbers thing. There are a handful of options and Snead missed such a huge portion of the beginning of the season. Since they do not practice as much during the season anymore, the timing may just be off an Brees isn't completely comfortable unless it's one of those plays where he makes it all the way through his progressions.

There were a few times in the game where you could see him and he was getting separation. There was a play I vaguely recall where Snead was on Brees right side and beat the corner off the line within a few yards; "unfortunately" Brees looked left for a completion. I think had he looked right and saw Snead, it would have ben a bigger gain.

Yeah, if Brees just isn’t going to throw it to him at all, you may as well bring up Travin Dural or something.

Brandon Coleman must be the best damn pass blocker in the NFL. After fumbling the ball 3 times in 4 games, the thought of benching Coleman probably hasn't even crossed Sean Payton's mind. If you put Ingram in same position (fumbling 3 times in 4 game) Payton would have made him inactive.
