He's up in there in age so I don't know.

We need treadwell.

Definitely would not hate the pick, but to me we need immediate impact youth at both guard positions as well as D line. I feel almost the same about our CB's as I do our WR's in that we've got enough young talent that could still develop into legit starters if not game changers so we do not need to get younger and draft these positions but rather go after some veteran FA's like we tried to do with Browner. Although if a true #1WR is available in the draft it'd be hard to argue against that. And we need to cut Browner regardless of dead money, it'll still save us like $1M+ so to me that's worth it.

Lewis will return at #1 or #2, plus Breaux/Swann/PJ are all 26 and under and would be a solid 2/3/4.....I'd like to see us target someone like Leon Hall, Terrance Newman, Sean Smith, or Jerraud Powers on a short term deal in FA

Cooks/Snead/Coleman all did okay this year as 1/2/3, but they would look even better as more of a 2/3/4.....I'd like to see us target someone like Anquan Boldin or Malcom Floyd in FA......Although a person I'd really love to see here and it's not as crazy as it first sounds is Calvin Johnson. At 30 years old there is no way the Lions keep him at a $24M cap hit, and reports are saying people close to him are indicating he will not take a pay cut, my guess is because he wants out of Detroit. He's also "mulling retirement" but I don't think that's a big possiblity. If he does leave Detroit which seems most likely, aside from maybe a bigger contract elsewhere I don't see why he wouldn't want to come here in a dome and play with Drew who showed zero signs of slowing down and Payton staying here

I don't see how we could afford Calvin Johnson, especially considering the feeding frenzy that would no doubt ensue were he to wind up on the open market.

Don't need a big wr when you can get ladarius green. He has the makings of an elite te/receiver in the right offense and players

Coleman is a journeyman NFL WR. Big guy with "tons of potential" but isn't a great WR. He is what he is.

That would be awesome! And I think he'd blow-up into an all-pro if he came here. But I'm not sure we can afford him.

Coleman was very inconsistent. Looked incredible at times then big drops as in Atlanta game. Will be 4 or 5 receiver next year. Can't play special teams doesn't help him.

Do you even watch a game this season?

I know for a fact he played on the punt team.

Coleman looks remarkably similar to Colston...

Similar number, size, helmet, shield... Their names even sound the same.

I can't tell who's who when they are on the field at the same time.

He's already done the 7-9 seasons. I think the Pats, Pitt or a seahag is more likely. Perhaps if we had the money to spend but we don't for a WR.

He had one drop, probably the only drop he had since he got some meaningful playing time and everyone wants to harp on it. He has been very consistent IMO.

I mean I think he's shown potential, but this is pretty silly:

And he's had a few "drops" this year caused by bad route running making his path to the ball more difficult on good throws. He's greatly improved his route running though and no longer heavily rounds or curls his routes. Hopefully he builds on it

Many quick to forget colston use to drop an easy catch at least once a game.

When he started getting older.

He has several elite seasons in terms of drops.

he was rarely used and on at least 3-4 occasions had drops when he was called upon. I dont think i would call him consistent at all.

still better as a 2. He is no where near a top tier receiver that a true number 1 should be

The only thing he's consistent about is his inconsistency.
