To the Fans of New Orleans and the organization. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me the opportunity to play there. Coaches thank you for always pushing me to be the best I can be. Fans you guys have been nothing but great to me and I couldn't be more thankful! To the guys in the locker room your support never went unnoticed. My love for you all is deep. Blessings?? #thearcher #shootyourarrows
I'm sure most won't care due to his wanting out. But just thought I'd share anyway

Screw you Cooks for being a whiny bitch.

I will give him the benefit of the doubt, I don't read that as a comment from a bitter player not getting along with others and wanting out.
I will just put him in the category of a guy who thought a little too much of himself and felt he needed to be the center of focus for the offense to help the team win more.
competitive guys can get very emotional about it and none of us really knows what is in the guys heart. he may have truly felt being a whiney bitch demanding the ball more was the best way to help the team win more. wouldn't be the first guy to feel he could carry the team and just wanted the chance to do it.

shite happens, that's the nature of the beast in this business. I'm hoping the Saints can make good off him with NE and build their defense, but Brandin Cooks played hard while he was a Saint, good luck to him in Beliville.
receiver is an area the Saints will never have a problem with as long as Brees is there.

That's not true. 2012 our wide receivers were poo and we could never get separation. This was one of the reasons we drafted cooks. Snead and Thomas have been great but let's not forget about that year when we threw to Sproles 500 times because our receivers were old and slow.

Now imagine what he would have said if he went to the Browns or some other shitty team. Pretending to take the high road because you're happy with where you landed doesn't impress me.

This. Let's see him sing a different tune when he's gotta battle Julian Edelman, Rob Gronkowski, Danny Amendola, Dwayne Allen and then you have Dion Lewis and James White as well for targets. On top of their up and comer in Malcolm Mitchell too. I thank him for everything he's done but he can go frick himself with this apology.

I agree but Bill will keep his ego in check. If not then he'll be gone in two years when he's looking for that big contract. I lost all respect for that dude. I wish we would've sent his arse to the rams or browns.

That letter's too short

I wish him well as long as it doesn't affect my teams fortunes. He is still a young man in a very high pressure and competitive business and I hope he looks back and learns.

We will look back at this trade and remember it as a personnel turning point. Good move by The Saints.

Just another bs PR move that screams how much he cares about his reputation. Dude is fake and ungrateful as hell

So what's the concrete evidence he wanted out??
