Father Time is undefeated.

Brady was the only player in the league older than me. It was a good run being “younger than some NFL players” but we all get old. Me and Tom included.

I’d rather get a franchise qb. Going around .500 to get waxed in the wildcard round doesn’t mean anything is we don’t get an answer there.

You aren’t winning it with Dennis Allen, so might as well tank next year so he can get fired.

I'm never one to tank but dennis allen needs to go.

He isn't head coach material.

Sorry to inform you, our division is trash. When you have 4 bad teams, none of them will be picking high enough for Williams or maye

I've never understood the obsession to lose. The eagles had 1 bad year, and immediately regrouped to build back to the Super Bowl this year. We have some draft capital now, and you are always one good draft from turning things around

No harm trying to win every game while your rebuilding but if you're talking about further mortgaging the future and taking on more bad contracts that come due in 2-3 years no thank you.

The foundation of this team is cracking under the weight of all the cap and all the dead money on the books.

The Saints should go watch the movie "Moneyball" then do everything they can to emulate that for the next 2 season.

Same. Found myself liking him more and more because of this

And the eagles gave a qb and an offensive identity that plays at his strengths. We are a rudderless ship of shite.

Nobody likes losing. But it’s shortsighted as shite to choose a mediocre year or two over the ability to compete long term. It’s basically a four team race to find a qb at this point.

You act like a horrible season somehow guarantees we will be better. What in the saints' history suggests this to be the case?

It doesn’t guarantee anything but at least it’s a start. Having Dennis Allen and shite at qb guarantees a ceiling of mediocrity. It’s the haslett years with a lower ceiling.

Not so fast. They have much better roster and more attractive to free agent QBs. Saints fricked

Their roster is no better than ours. They are getting old in some key spots. Their head coach is as bad as Allen.
