Black Jersey on White Pants Tomorrow

Is this some kind of joke by the team?

I know they wore a black on white combo during the Manning years... but those jerseys had white trim and those pants had black & gold stripes

These black jerseys with the "icy white" pants are going to be ugly as sin

ummmm that was worn for years at home games during the bum phillips reign. mora is the one who scrapped those and went to gold pants and white and black jerseys.

Best combination in team history. It is way past due for a uniform change, along with replacing the tan with the old gold. Would love to see something similar to this.

Since they are going throwback I wish they would use the throwback helmet as well.

It’s not throwback from what I understand. It’s our current black jersey and the icy white practice pants.

If the white pants are the color rush pants, that would be fine because the Saints wore similar pants (only difference is the fleur de lis on the hip) with black jerseys from 1975 to ‘85.

If it’s the plain white pants (which should be burned) that look like diapers, then gross.

The black helmet looked better than I thought it would but the fluer di lis should have been white instead of Gold, it would have stood out more. Also should have had stripes down the middle rather than what they did.

There is certainly nothing more Manning Era-esque than trying to notch that 8th win on the last day of the regular season.
