Bet you LSU becomes a Saints pipeline now.

How much do you want to wager that all the years that Sean Payton avoided drafting LSU players will soon be a thing of the past?
Sean Payton in a recent presser said he was watching the LSU/Bama game. Even when the announcers aren’t breaking down formations, how many times does Payton smirk when he sees LSU run a play he himself designed?
Even Drew Brees was interviewed recently. Apparently someone on the Saints training staff is still good friends with Joe Brady. During the Auburn game, Brees recognized a play Brady audibled to in the game. Brees told his trainer to text Joe Brady something like “Hey man, nice audible to Red Left Flat XZ Arrow Y Omaha”
Brady texted his trainer friend back and asked how the FRICK did he know the exact play that was called. After all, this guy was simply a fitness trainer and had no knowledge of the X’s and O’s of a playbook.
The trainer friend texted back “I have Drew next to me” ...then everyone laughed.
Seriously, Sean Payton is noticing these things. I bet you we start seeing a few more LSU offensive players selected by the Saints in upcoming drafts.

Sean has never avoided LSU players.
This is a myth. There is ZERO evidence, apart from circumstantial bullshite, that he does.

That ohio state pipeline has paid off. Why mess with a good thing

Lol doubt it
They’ll continue to be a pipeline for the rest of the NFCS though unfortunately

He’s lying, he watched Ohio State-Maryland that day.

I don't know if this is "circumstantial bullshite" but Sean Payton has made it clear in interviews that he does not like the extra media attention that LSU draftees get over other draftees.
I don't think its enough to stop him from taking a player that falls but I think it is enough to stop him from reaching for equal value.

I’ve never seen a group of people that can’t distinguish Saturday from Sunday.
Can you imagine how bad we would be if our roster was LSU players?

You’re going to real mad when we pick Hurts or Tua (if he falls enough) this year....

I agree that Payton will always want to draft
talent, just as he always has( he’s never intentionally avoided LSU players).

No way man Sean hates LSU even more now that they’ve stolen Brady.

I laugh every time I see Clyde run the RB option route out of the backfield.
Thats definitely a Reggie Bush Saints play.
I also notice they move Chase to the slot to match him with someone other than a CB (mostly a safety). Look familiar? It should, because thats where Colston destroyed people.
Its funny how LSU is running the Saints EXACT offense. Look how many balls Clyde is catching out of the backfield...
