huh?

theirs a huge waiting list for season tickets

the dome is gonna be sold out, regardless if u can afford tickets or not

it's a proven fact that fans who can pay more don't make as much noise, aren't as knowledgeable about the team, etc.

they're the people who talk on their blackberrys making business deals, and we don't want that crowd in the superdome. they come on the bandwagon only when the team looks this good

Why didn't you buy season tickets for $144 in June - August of 2006 when they were readily available on Ticketmaster or at the Saints box office?

If you were a "real fan" you'd have season tickets. No excuses.

This is not a "proven fact". It's bias against people with money.

And there is no cell phone service in the Dome. You can barely even get texts out.

a few reasons.

1 we sucked

2 i didn't have $144 back then

and as for bias, you're damn right i'm biased. i was starting to get used to $30-$50 a game on stubhub, but i can't afford to pay no $130 right now. we're in a recession. i'm too proud to ask for free ticket welfare, but damn right i can complain.

Thinking the Saints sucked coming out of the '05 season doesn't make you not a "real fan" although not being able to admit that they sucked does make you an idiot.

He listed "we sucked" as his #1 reason for not buying season tickets. As if that even fricking mattered back then when we got our beloved NFL team back. That's not a legitimate excuse for such a "real fan".

that's retarded, season tickets are not that expensive. the majority of the Dome will be season ticket holders come gameday and we will be making just as much noise as the people at home bitching about prices. if you don't like the prices, you should have had season tickets from back in the day when we weren't good, and you would be paying face value right now, not watching it on your couch at home

I can't speak for him or anybody else but I personally have a limited amount of disposable income. Spending it on season tickets for a team that sucks would've been a really poor choice. Does that make me not a "real fan"? frick no. And I would definitely take personal offense to someone calling me out like that.

In addition, I assure you that there's a lot of people with season tickets that I wouldn't consider "real fans". The dome holds nearly 72,000 right? You can't tell me 72,000 ticket holders on game day are all "real fans".

If you wouldn't support the Saints when they aren't winning than I'm flat out calling you a bandwagoner.

this argument keeps getting dumber. the 72,000 people in there were obviously fan enough to make sure they had a ticket, unlike you

Is your only definition of "support" buying season tickets?
