If I had to choose. I think we keep 4 and Collins alone as FB. Ivory on IR.

It will be PT, Ingram, Sproles, Ivory, and Bell. Along with Hall and Collins. They keep them all.

Ivory to PUP. That puts the RBs at Ingram, PT, Sproles and Bell. Coach likes Jed as the FB, from the preseason commentators.

No way they roll 5 RBs AND Two FBs. You have to lump the TEs in with the FBs because they use TEs at FB alot. I do think it is possible they keep both FBs, but that will be at the expense of a RB and/or a TE (the Saints usually roll with 4 on the 53).

Bell plays special teams, so I could see us carrying 5 running backs and 1 fullback. I like me some Collins.

I wish we could see Bell as a kickoff returner like we did with PT.

you don't know what they will do, one of the RB's could take one of the TE's roster spot.

Sproles has shown absolutely nothing to me. I know its preseason but damn all of the other RB's have done something except him the only thing I remember is him dropping like three passes against the Texans. He needs to play better though without a doubt.

After watching the preseason games, I could be the KO returner bc it doesn't really matter anymore.

I have said it before and I will say it again, everyone can have whatever shitass opinion ya want. But the more away from mean consensus the more ya need to make a case. Spouting someone is a shell of their former self or a is trash is only gonna getcha crapped on.

Sproles was franchised in 2009
He was tendered for a 1st & 3rd pick in '10
His career rushing average is 4.6ypc
His receptions for the past 4yrs are 10, 29, 45, & 59
In 2009 Sproles ran for two touchdowns in place of the injured LaDainian Tomlinson, including the game-winning touchdown in overtime to beat the Colts 23-17. With 105 yards rushing, 45 yards receiving and 178 return yards, Sproles finished the game with 328 all-purpose yards in the Chargers victory over the Colts, the third most all-purpose yards by a player in a single NFL post-season game in NFL history. He was named the NBC Sunday Night Football "Horse Trailer Player of the Game" for the second consecutive week.

Make a case for trash

I read what you said and I still maintain what I said. Ivory probably will go on the PUP list, but we shall see.

People really are retarded in the preseason. Sproles hasn't returned a punt. He hasn't returned a kick...and not ALL kicks will go 7 yards deep. He's barely lined up in the slot.

Bell has a similar skill set to Thomas and Ingram. Sproles has a significantly different skill set. If Thomas or Ingram get gimpy, you'll see Bell. If not, not.

The league is littered with guys who are preseason stars who never do shite again. Likewise, the league is littered with starters who don't do shite in preseason but do great in the regular season. Why? Because the preseason doesn't matter.

Thats cool. I didn't necessarily disagree with you, I just think they will keep 2 FBs. Maybe not, because it seems like the 5 RBs we are talking about would outweigh a FB.

ETA: I re-read my post and I can see how it would have been unclear.
