Barry Sanders wishes he was as good as Pierre Thomas

Even ignoring the talent differential, your comparison's are shite. Bush is maybe (barely) a more dynamic receiver, but he can never be the runner that Faulk was and won't produce the overall receiving stats since he can't really be on the field as frequently as Faulk. PT is nothing like Sanders. PT, I'd say, is an upper middle class man's Priest Holmes: not a great athlete but fantastic balance. PT just isn't a redzone magnet like Priest was, who I swear could run directly towards the sideline but somehow managed to get closer to the goal line.

Barry, if you are reading this thread, please accept my apologies. You should never be compared to anyone.

There have been very few running backs that could give you the 'wow' factor. Jim Brown. O.J. Simpson. Walter Payton. Earl Campbell.

But Barry freakin Sanders tops them all and no comparisons are possible at this point in time. FWIW.

Thank you!!!!!!

I don't think Barry ever rushed for less than 1,100 yards in his 10 seasons. 2,000 frickin yards in one season man. Just sick. I wear my saints jersey for 3 hours on Sunday, but the other 12 it's my sanders throwback.

In that they are all four black running blacks that played in the NFL? Sure, I agree.

dude, pt and barry sanders?

you do realize that Barry Sanders was super fast right?

Pt ran a 4.69... you... have... failed

seriously though that really is a bad comparison... its why everyone on this post is making fun of you, not because they are bored...

If we're gonna compare pt to an old great who has accomplished way more than him I say Emmit Smith... Ran like an animal, cut back in holes, slippery, was never very fast

Shaun Alexander is another good comparison, cut back runner around 220 pounds, never ran faster than a 4.7
