Trevor is either on the 53 or he's traded. NO other options assuming not injured.

Depth at tackle is Josh Ball and Josiah Ezirim. Penning may have the safest roster spot on the team

Ezirim is interesting was a project what 3-4 years ago? Edit: 2024. Must be thinking someone else.

Late to football with the perfect tackle size. Will be interesting to see if he gets significant reps. If not I imagine the experiment over.

Penning “got better” by giving up the league’s most pressure. We drafted an injury prone QB whose completion percentage drops 30 points when pressured. All while we drafted OTs with back to back first round picks the last two drafts

What’s that mean? Saints start penning at tackle

No. It means banks and fuaga will be your tackles most likely. I think they are pretty much done with penning. He will probably be the swing tackle for this yr.

Itll be interesting to see what we do with our 3 first round tackles and 2 first round centers.

And the damndest thing of it all . . . our guard play has sucked. A true mystery.

This guy keeps getting overlooked. We have 6 guys for 5 spots. They'll figure something out.

I know it's PFF - but Radunz graded lower (57.0) than Penning (60.2) last year and allowed 6 sacks to Penning's 5 sacks; surprise surprise, Penning did have more penalties.

He's also on a 1 year guaranteed deal at under $3 million (like Penning) so I don't know if he's seen as some anointed starter.

I think this will be an actual competition and their fates will be based on their play in practice and the preseason.

Then again, we could all be wrong and Kellen Moore has his own preferred lineup in mind that we haven't grasped yet.

I think someone will be cut who is more productive than Radunz. He was a horrible signing, and a downgrade from Lucas Patrick.
